How does your pricing for one-on-one classes work?
For one-on-one classes, prices are per 60 minutes of class. Please see the Classes page to see the different costs and features for the one-on-one options.
Small group classes are also offered occasionally – based upon special request. Prices for small group classes are handled on case-by-case basis.
Can I try a class?
Yes. I offer a 30-minute trial class to new clients for $8.00. The trial class includes a 30-minute training session with an evaluation and a needs assessment to identify your goals and needs. This information is used to develop personalized one-on-one classes for you. If you decide to purchase one-on-one classes, the $8.00 will be refunded to you. We will use Skype or Zoom for your trial class. Please contact me to schedule your Trial Class.
Can I reschedule or cancel my class?
Yes. However, you must reschedule and/or cancel your class 24 hours before the scheduled time. Please see the Online Class Policies page for more information.
Will I receive a refund if I cancel my class?
Refunds are provided only if the class is canceled at least 24 hours before the originally scheduled class.
How do the classes work?
What do I need for my class?
You need a computer/laptop/tablet/smart phone, an Internet connection, a microphone and speakers. A webcam is optional if you want to use video in your lesson. It is important that you check these settings and make sure everything is working correctly before the start of your class. Please see the Online Class Policies page for questions related to refunds due to technology problems.
How long do I need to take classes?
Can I get a refund on an ebook or online course?
Full 100% refunds are available for ebooks and online courses within 30 days of purchase.
Refund Policy: Speak Confident English will refund 100% of your purchase within 30 days of purchase date if you are unsatisfied or if you believe the course or ebook you purchased was not helpful to you in your English learning. To request a refund, please send an email showing that you have completed the course/ebook materials but did not find them helpful. Include the receipt from your purchase in the email request.
Refunds will not be given if you did not take the time or make the effort to participate in the course or try to improve your skills with it.
